| Voting is a right that should never be restricted. The argument, that requiring ID to vote is restricting this right, is a claim with no basis. Identification of some form is required in so many aspects of life today. The claim that requiring identification to vote suppresses individuals can not be supported in this day and age. What requiring ID would do is suppresses voter fraud. Campaign finance is out of control. Simply ask yourself: Why would someone spend so much to obtain a job that pays so little? Where and how are they really benefiting from this process? | |||

| Free market is capable of self regulation, when government gets involved it does two things, it drives up costs and increases the size of government. Let the free market do what it does best. The only winner in a minimum wage increase is government. The cost increases incurred from the wage increase will most often only be a positive for the recipient on a temporary basis until the market catches up. | |||

However the way the system is currently working the budget is not being used to actually educate our youth but to over pay administrators and increase bureaucracy. | |||

The primary duty of our government is to preserve these rights as given to us by our creator. Our founders did not secure these rights for us so that we could hunt or trap shoot, they secured them so that we could always stand against those who seek to infringe upon our rights. Any law that restricts a citizen in this matter will never have my support. | |||

When one starts listing groups or individuals in special legislation, one takes away equal protection and gives special rights. Government does not give us rights, it protects our natural rights. If one was discriminated against because of what one feels was gender or sexual orientation, just saying so does not make it so, one must prove it. | |||
| My priorities will be to deregulate Idaho as much as possible. Getting Idaho back to its constitutionally mandated duties, cutting bureaucracy and in return lowering the tax burden that lies upon every citizen of this great state. | |||
